Shading the Malvern Hills

The Malvern Hills always offer a fantastic walk with stunning panoramic views of Worcestershire and the surrounding areas throughout. This walk was one of my furthest on the hills, starting at the central car park and looping down to the British camp hill fort on the southern end of the hills.

The day was a mixture of clouds and sunshine, which I prefer for landscape photography. It not only brings a natural shading to the landscapes, but also helps create images that look less flat and look more like my visual treatment straight out of the camera.

The hill fort provides and interesting landscape and outlook over the hills, looking backwards you can see the three hill peaks and the surrounding countryside and the hill fort itself has a tiered look to it, with some steps leading you up to the top — a change from the gravel tracks throughout the rest of the hills!
