Winter at Berrington Hall

On a cold winters day, I took myself to Berrington Hall’s parkland to explore the landscape in the cold fog. The lake was entirely frozen over with ice, but there was not much of a frost covering on the grass.

With the colder weather around, it was very quiet and serene with the fog and mist. Although that didn’t stop a few keep swans and robins from getting out and about.

With the ice on the lake so thick, the swans were walking around on the water! Even some of the puddles on the footpaths were completely frozen solid – putting my balance to the test!
