The Deer at Charlecote Park

With a new zoom lens to try out, I headed to Charlecote Park in Warwickshire – not too far from Stratford-upon-Avon. Charlecote features a deer park which is a great place to camera some nature photography and landscapes.

Of course, Charlecote Park isn’t just deer and trees – the River Dene runs through the Park before meeting with the River Avon, home to some swans. You’ll also find the victorian house as well as avenues of trees which make for some great leading line photos!

Fortunately, there were lots of deer out and about to photograph for my visit. Some of the deer like to get up close to the visitors, however many of them do like to sit back from the paths which was a great chance for me to try out my lens!

And to finish off this post, a panorama of a deer walking through the parkland.
