For a few foggy days in December, it was very difficult to see any landscapes around – until I headed up to the Worcestershire Beacon in Malvern. Walking up to the Beacon, I walked through the cool cloud before arriving at the clearing, where you could see for miles, to Titterstone Clee in Shropshire and the Black Mountains in Wales.
I’d never seen anything like this, it was almost like the cloud was an ocean in itself with the nearby hilly peaks as their own islands. The sun was beaming down on the tops of the hill, making it quite a pleasant experience!
The clouds were still rolling over the hills, so the landscapes changed as I spent my time up there and, in certain areas, you could see the clouds flowing down the side of the hills – quite the sight!
As I headed back, looking from Summer Hill to the Worcestershire Beacon I captured this panoramic view of the beacon in the foreground, looking particularly busy with people who also wanted to experience the sight followed by Titterstone Clee sitting in the distance on the left of the frame.
